Marcus Wynne is one of those authors I hate because once I make the mistake of cracking the book and reading the first page I know the outside world will cease to exist until I'm done finding out what happened. There are very few authors who captivate me this way and I daresay it's because Marcus' books are written by a guy who knows what he's talking about. If I might digress for a minute...Mr Wynne is not a member of the been there, done that, got the t-shirt club. Rather he's a member of the been ordered there, done that, beaten up the locals and taken their damn t-shirts club which makes a massive difference.
There's nothing more frustrating than reading a book, getting caught up in the story and then reading about the Glock's safety catch or, as in one book I read recently where a guy repeatedly pulled the trigger on his Glock and it kept cycling despite the fact the firing pin had been removed. When you read nonsense like that it immediately reminds you that it's only a story...and not a very good one at that.
None of that here...as can be expected with his pedigree Mr Wynne gets it right and then some.
I would offer two bits of advice and one might be considered a spoiler so stop reading after number one if that bothers you.
1. Read Johnny Wylde first so you know who the key players are.
2. Wait till the spring when the rest of the story is out unless you don't mind waiting to find out what happens after a cliff-hanger ending as this one ends with us not knowing what happens until the next installment.

Too Wylde The Wylde Saga Book 2 edition by Marcus Wynne Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
7 hours, that's how long it took to read Johnny Wilde, nonstop. Thanks Marcus, I got no work done the day I opened this, the second installment of the Wylde books. The interactions between the characters of Johnny Wylde and Lizzy, Johnny and Nina, Irina, and Deon Ooosthuizen are fantastic. Layers of stories and a plot that is always on the move.
Best book I have read since Johnny Wilde. Dark minds, spooks and real street hardcore action and writing that would make some writers blush.
Sounds like some old familiar faces might turn up in the next book.
A thrill ride from page one!! Can't wait for the third book. Hurry up!!
After reading No Other Option ,by Marcus Wynne ,I was for some reason expecting another great book .This book started oddly ,hard to get in to ,but, once I gave it a chance it kicked into gear .I like books you can get into the characters and their relationships .Hopefully ,this leads to a series, so you can follow their trials and tribulations .One can only dream of Lizzy ,the love interest ,as her life is in turmoil .The only solid negative is the book just ends ..that's right ."to be continued " As it turns out the sequel is in chapters available from a .com website .How sad ,no book to read ,only 25 pages every so often .If I didn't start the series it would have been better .Waiting for 25 pages every so often is not for me .I like to remember who everyone is ,and their relationship. It is like a tv show off the air for a year and trying to remember who's who !!!!!!
This is a continuation of 'Johnny Wylde' and I've been waiting for it since I finished the first last March. Picked it up yesterday, and boy did it go fast. Now I'm stuck anxiously awaiting the next. **Fair warning - one needs to read 'Johnny Wylde' first, as this book takes off at break-neck speed from the plot already set up in the first.**
I carry the curse of the training junkie - this sort of fiction has to be technically tight, or the inaccuracies pull me out of the story. It's obvious that Mr. Wynne is a serious shooter. He hits the details perfectly and rolls the technical details into a plot filled with interesting, human characters seamlessly. The dialogue is realistic and funny in places without crossing over into the 'witty one liners' you read in so many action based stories. The plot moves along smartly, and there wasn't any point that seemed like it was there only to set up a later scene.
I've enjoyed all of Mr. Wynne's books, but the 'Johnny Wylde' books are emerging as his best. If you enjoy military fiction or action / thrillers, I can't recommend this series strongly enough.
I came across Marcus Wynne's stories by chance. It was one of the books that was going for only 99 cents and the summary looked interesting enough so I decided to by it. At 99 cents, it was an absolute steal. If you haven't read any of Marcus Wynne's stories, I can't recommend him enough. They are cheaper than a Starbucks coffee and will keep you awake a lot better.
Too Wylde delivers all the same elements I've found in Marcus Wynne's novels realistic firefights, gear expertise, fascinating characters, and an interesting story line. After reading Johnny Wylde, I was hooked, and I can't wait to read the other parts. Wylde stories are the perfect blend; ass-kicking, but not to the point of stupid, repetitious violence; character development, but not so that the reader forgets he/she is reading a thriller. Wylde is who Jason Bourne wishes he could be cool, deadly, influential, loved by his friends and feared by his enemies.
I am excited to see what happens next to my favorite modern day gunslinger.
This is not a book. It has no ending. Knowing the characters requires a reading of the first book. There is no ending and the next book, as best I can tell, has not been written as of June 23 2015. You can buy three chapters of the next alleged book Three's Willde.
I give it one star due to the characters who are of some slight interest. There is no real story, just a series of encounters by crazy people in a community that somehow exists in a complete quagmire of diversity, terrorism, evil, gunrunning, strip clubs, drugs, and weirdos.
I confess I am interested enough to want to know how the author's imaginary characters end up.
